The renowned biochemist Dr Ernst Krebs, Jr. maintained that the control, prevention, or cure of chronic and metabolic diseases has always been brought about only by means common to the nature of man, never by factors foreign to the biologic (natural) experience of the organism.
Cancer is a chronic, metabolic disease…that is obvious. It isn’t an infectious disease, which is caused by bacteria or viruses. It is a disease that is metabolic in origin. A metabolic disease is a disease that is linked with our utilization of food. Most metabolic diseases have as their basis specific vitamins and minerals.
Let me give you a categorical or axiomatic truth to take with you. One that is totally uncontradictable, scientifically, historically and in every other way. This is that no chronic or metabolic disease in the history of medicines has ever been prevented or cured, except by factors normal to the diet or normal to the animal economy. There have been many erstwhile fatal devastating diseases that now have become virtually unknown. They have been prevented and cured by ingesting the dietary factors and thereby preventing the deficiencies, which accounted for these diseases. G. Edward Griffin elaborates:
A chronic disease is one which usually does not pass away of its own accord. A metabolic disease is one which occurs within the body and is not transmittable to another person. Cancer therefore is defined as a chronic metabolic disease.
There are many of these diseases that plague modern man such as muscular dystrophy, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, and sickle-cell anemia. Modern science has spent many millions of dollars searching for a prevention for these cripplers and killers, but they are little closer to the answers today than they were when they first started. Perhaps the reason is that they are still looking for that something that causes these diseases instead of the lack of something.
Dr. Krebs has pointed out that, in the entire history of medical science, there has not been one chromic metabolic disease that was ever cured or prevented by drugs, surgery, or mechanical manipulation of the body. In every case–whether it be scurvy, pellagra, rickets, beri-beri, night blindness, pernicious anemia or any of the others—the ultimate solution was found only in factors relating to adequate nutrition. And he thinks that this is an important clue as to where to concentrate our scientific curiosity in the search for a better understanding of today’s diseases, particularly cancer. (G. Foods, to be adequate, must foster wellness and be able to help the body heal and rebuild, if and when illness strikes. Huge meal servings and snacks ad libitum do provide the needs of the body for its cells to stay alive, but are they healthy? The quality of foods we eat begs for closer scrutiny. What have practically taken over grocery shelves, and abound even in neighborhood sari-sari stores are largely processed and refined foods, tainted with chemical preservatives and additives. As if that were not enough to cause damage health-wise, comes now irradiated foods; and even worse, foods that have been genetically modified (GM). It is no wonder then that cancer and other metabolic diseases have become prevalent, and on the rise.
The body takes care of itself. Feed it the real thing, that which it recognizes as familiar to its nature, and it will know how best to effectively use the nutrients for its own benefit. But when fed foods tainted with chemical preservatives and additves, the body is compromised, left with no option but to process the objectionable materials even as they have been recognized as toxic. It is the eventual accumulation of these toxins which causes a myriad of health issues.
Why has this been allowed to happen? Don’t we have government agencies tasked with safeguarding the health of the consuming public? What then is left that is safe to eat? Although whole or natural foods are free of chemical preservatives and additives (colors, flavors, sweeteners, hydrogenated fats), they are not that healthy either, contaminated as they are by residues from chemical spray and fertilizers.
It is organic foods that are by far the best and the healthiest as they are produced without the use of chemical pesticides, fertilizers, additives and genetically modified organisms (GMO). Sure, organic foods do cost more but hey! I’d rather have a healthy family rather than have to later on deal with health problems resulting from cumulative poisons brought about by the consumption of produce, grown conventionally, using pesticides. “We are what we eat, so be careful of what you put in your mouth!” was what my father used to say to us after my mother’s HCG titer finally came in negative.
Cancer is but a metabolic disease ‘linked with our utilization of food’ and its natural and non-toxic management is best defined as Metabolic Therapy.
I have resorted to pot-planting in my backyard using compost from kitchen waste for our basic tomato, okra, eggplant, sweet potato, and when weather permits, ampalaya and pechay tagalog, making sure to preserve heritage seeds for the next planting. I am wary of GM foods, field tested here in the Philippines by no less than the International Rice Research Institute, as I am aware of the dangers of horizontal transference which could contaminate heritage seeds inter-cropped between GM plants. I only buy green leafy veggies with chew marks, funny as that might sound. As far as I am concerned, anything the caterpillars will eat is good enough for me and my family. I pray that beneficial bugs or pests will continue to thrive and inform us of what is good and true.
